Women In Need (WIN) is committed to the safety and well-being of those we serve, our staff, volunteers and the community at large.

WIN is committed to continue our work and monitor the situation. We will adjust to the changing circumstances as needed. Here, are the most current updates.

HELP CONTINUES TO BE AVAILABLE

WIN’s Hotline (903-454-HELP) is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. WIN’s legal advocates, including those who are bilingual, continue to work with victims to prepare and provide effective safety plans, services, and resources. Emergency shelter services continue with the utmost care and concern for the safety of victims, their children and the WIN staff. For any victims and survivors who need support, we are here for you and are committed to seeing you through the process of getting and staying safe.


VIRTUAL SERVICES ARE AVAILABLE

WIN’s legal advocates are available to meet virtually with victims and host virtual support groups.

COMMUNITY EDUCATION & AWARENESS EVENTS

WIN’s education specialists are providing our evidence-based prevention education programming both in-person and online for our Rockwall & Hunt County ISD Students. WIN’s outreach coordinator is available to for in-person events. Some events, like our next fundraiser, Chocolate Indulgence, will occur virtually. RETAIL STORES

WIN’s Resale Stores are a vital resource to support the WIN Shelter Services and our stabilization and safety processes of the families we serve. Each of our four My Sister’s Closet stores have returned to normal hours of operation.

NEEDED ITEMS

As always, WIN is available to receive your financial donations. To give directly, please contact us at win@geusnet.com. You can also mail your donation to us at P.O. Box 349, Greenville Texas, 75403, or 904 N. Goliad, Rockwall, Texas 75087. Online donations are accepted on our website.

Beyond financial donations, please consider donating the following items: hand sanitizer, face masks, latex gloves, antibacterial hand soap and all paper products such as toilet paper. Additional support could come in the form of gas cards, vouchers for motels/hotels as an alternative when our shelter is full.
